Pay range $37,500 - $50,000

MAF is looking for an experienced professional for the position of Auto Title Manager located in our Clearwater, FL corporate headquarters. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have prior managerial and auto title experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily operations (plan, organize, control all activities) of the Title Department. 
  • Follow up with clerks to ensure all logs, contracts and title numbers from newly funded business and acquisitions are tracked with their status.
  • Create and process title applications and other various title work, ensuring compliance with each state where  MAF operates.
  • Maintain and work report daily, ensuring all recent data entry is completed accurately.
  • Follow up on any missing titles from newly loaded deals as necessary. Work and maintain missing title report, taking action to resolve outstanding title issues. 
  • Communicate with various state and county DMV agencies as well as auto auctions.
  • Interact with dealers including follow up and spot-checking pending title work
  • Ensure monthly goals are achieved.
  • Oversee all daily account payoff and loan buyback processing.
  • Assign and delegate title audits, submission of ELT transfers, and any DMV complaints. 
  • Assist with incoming calls from customers and lienholders.
  • Other duties may be assigned based on the company's needs.

What You Need:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with employee training and development.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to resolve challenging customer situations using all resources necessary.
  • Calculate and compute reports (Word and/or Excel).
